FarmBooks Installation 1013 Error

When installing FarmBooks, the following error occurs: Error 1013.

Why this is happening

A number of things could be causing an issue with the install:

• The user account running the install does not have administrator privileges.
• A virus scanner could be blocking the install from running
• A firewall could be blocking the install from running.

How to fix it

Solution 1: Install FarmBooks as the computer administrator.
Logout of your system and log back in using the administrative account and then try installing FarmBooks again.

Solution 2: Turn off your virus scanner.
If your computer is running Trend, Norton, Kaspersky or AVG Antivirus turn if off and then run the install again. After the FarmBooks installation completes, you may turn your virus scanner on again.

Solution 3: Turn off your firewall.
If your computer is running a firewall, turn it off and then run the install again.. After the FarmBooks installation completes, you may turn your firewall back on.
